One of the Consortium's participants is the Russian Joint Stock Company "Concern Vneshenergosnab ".

Joint Stock Company "Concern Vneshenergosnab" was founded in 1997. Concern has been tending to take part in International electric power industry market since it has been founded. Initially the Concern started cooperation with electro systems in Belarus and Lithuania.

Since 1998 a number of very important functions was charged to the Concern on the behalf of the biggest Russian energy company - the Russian Securities Company `Unified Energy System of Russia`. The scheme was the following: Energy companies consumers - Energy systems of Russia - Generating powers.

Additional information: Unified Energy System of Russia was established in 1992 pursuant to Decrees of the President of the Russian Federation of August 15, 1992 No. 923 and November 5, 1992 No. 1334. The property of thermal and hydraulic power plants, trunk transmission lines with substations and other power facilities as well as blocks of shares in energy companies, research and engineering companies and construction entities of the industry were transferred to the authorized capital of the Company. So, the Holding Company entities provide 70% of electricity generation and around one-third of heat delivery in Russia, control 72% of generating capacities and 96% of the total length of Russia's trunk transmission lines. The reorganization of Unified Energy System of Russia was the logical completion of the electricity sector restructuring and the formation of the industry's new demonopolized structure. While competitive relations were developing among new stand-alone electricity market players, Unified Energy System of Russia ceased to exist as a "state-owned monopoly" and was transformed into several state-owned and private companies. After the reorganization Unified Energy System of Russia was created and Head Company stopped being the head one from the 1^st of July 2008.

Joint Stock Company "Concern Vneshenergosnab" was accredited by UES of Russia for energy projects equipment delivery.

Company has been delivering equipment to subsidiaries and associates of the Russian fuel and energy complex, such as:

-         Intersystem electrical nets  UES of Russia

-         Specialized companies dealing with maintenance overhaul and reconstruction of current network

-         Network systems and energy systems in the Russian Federation and CIS
